A Note from Tika R. Basnet, Founder of Manifest Bhutan Expeditions

My name is Tika R. Basnet. I am a lawyer by profession and a Bhutanese by birth. Manifest Bhutan wasn’t created from a business plan. It grew from a very simple idea: to share Bhutan in a way that feels honest and respectful — as it really is, without exaggeration, without filters.

Over the years, I have realized that people don’t just visit Bhutan for sightseeing. They come here searching for something deeper — peace, clarity, or perhaps just a different perspective on life. That understanding shaped the way we built this company.

My background in law taught me to value integrity, transparency, and responsibility. These values guide how we run this business. Every trip we arrange is done with care — for our guests, for our communities, and for Bhutan itself.

Manifest Bhutan isn’t about offering luxury for its own sake. It’s about helping people connect with this country in a way that is thoughtful, meaningful, and true to its spirit.
